Last week, I lost a co-worker. He was trying to recover from a liver transplant (His second) and didnt’ make it. He had been given a second lease on life and, I hope, he’d had time to make his peace. I missed his service because I was at the shot show.

This morning, at three, the Ogwife’s favorite brother passed. He’d just discovered his wife was pregnant mere weeks ago, and he’d been having ticker troubles, and they finally caught up with him. He had a bypass saturday, was recovering, and from all appearances threw an embolism. We’ll probably drive up wednesday pm.

God rest and keep them both. Please, Lord, nobody else for a while.
