I don’t leave the house often to see a movie, it’s only the movies that really ::must:: be seen on a big screen, and this was one of them.

Purists and diehard fans of the TV series/radio series, might not like it, and they’d be stupid. This is an extremely funny movie. Daughter is still singing “so long and thanks for all the fish”

As Tanya says, make sure you stay for ALL the credits.

Spoilers will be added below the staple

The fact of the matter is, the damned Vogons look JUST like my grandfathers second, commonlaw wife Marge. They’re nicer natured, though, than she was.

The plains of stupidity thing was better done than I expected. I suspect a lot of people I work with have crossed them several times.

Arthur was less of a dolt than I thought he might otherwise have been. Trillian rocked, and was pretty in a non-anorectic youngish margot kidder way.

The Ford Prefect facial expressions were amazing.

Now, I got the wife wanting to read the books, and it dawns on me I no longer have them, I loaned them to someone who never returned them.
