Starting my own range
One rock at a time.
Sorting brass tonight, seems I’m bringing home as much gravel as brass sometimes. This was the gravel-in-brass collection for about 1000 rounds assorted, 380, 9, 40, 10, 45, 30 carbine, and 223.

I should also take this time to clarify, since I’m reminded of my last range day, that it was Partner that shot the primer off the 7.62 x 39 round. At 50 yards. With an ancient Stevens rifle, formerlyt owned by Uncle Sam. The target, at that range, was barely visible AT ALL. And he nailed it. With iron sights.

I read about this kind of shooting and despair at my own. Very cool.
Simo Hayah sends a high five from history.
Sifter. Biggest holes that won’t let the brass through.
Midway has a set I’ve half thought of getting, for when have a bunch of different brass in the tumbler: top catches .45 size, second .40 size, bottom 9mm.
