Wait, and see.
Marijuana legalization is being put to a vote in California. It will win, and the District of Columbia will follow.
The resulting drop in crime (too much crime! let’s make the illegal shit legal and crime will drop!) will be pointed at as a good thing, and it will go nationwide.
This is how the idiots are going to pull their popularity out of the crapper. I told you. You wait and see.

Gov is full o’fucktards. I do believe this conflicts ever so slightly with their “Just Say No” campaign… not that conflicts in logic are scarce for them, just sayin’.
For everyone who thinks pot is a positive thing, I have four words:
Dave’s not here, man!
Well, one thing…stoner libs probably make better targets.
Pot-heads make for a very inconsistant voting block. The whole ‘getting someplace in time to vote’ thing is dificult for them.
lol. Nicely put, boss. The problem, as I see it, is the overlords would see to it they got to vote, and then supply the dope to keep them docile afterwards.
Mmmm, soma.
Stoners are just one step up from slow moving zombies, and there’s enough people here in CA making seriously more money off the illegal side than the “Pharmaceutical” side, so on balance I’m not so sure it’ll work. There’s farming taking place up behind the Rich Socialists’ Houses in Los Gatos, being conducted by illegal aliens with SKS’s and shit – local authorities think The Mexican’s are here.
If I read between the lines correctly, you are against legalizing drugs. In that case, definitely a lose-lose scenario.
So far I am in favor of ending that particular war on a noun, so logic dictates I’m OK with the evil party getting credit. Assuming they actually do the deeds of course. I’m sure they’ll screw it up.
I’m not for or against it. People will put anything they can get their hands on into their piehole, and I don’t give a shit if they do. Frankly, it thins the herd and makes the possibilities for my offspring better. My trouble with this is a: it will be used as a reason to convince dopers everywhere that the Won is jesus. b: it will get him and all his asinine minions re-elected. c: it will, with Welfare, be the single biggest block of entitlement voting, democrat reliant pieces of useless shit in the world.
Read back through chain and got the context I should’ve went and found in the first place. Mea culpa.
I think legalization is the right thing, so tagging the credit where it’s due is also the right thing.
But it will be something to watch. We’re living in interesting times!
Perhaps getting stock in Seven-Eleven (Southland Corp) or Frito-Lay, might be a good thing about now? Same goes for Jack-in-the-Box.
Sounds to me like this would be the “Bread” part of “Bread and Circuses”, we will be having sent our way before too long.
Well, if they legalize it, the ones using it the most are the ones that voted for the group we have in power now. Personally, any thing that might make them a non entity for a while does not hurt my feelings.
I just can’t see the stoner block as such a great swing block in the upcoming elections……..
“duuuudde I was sooooo against free trade tilll interfered with my righteous Mexican leaf man……”
“Nancy is sooooooooo right about healthcare You just have to see whatssss in it….. mann nahhhhh really!!!!!
Do you really think that these pot addled douche bags are going to change the way they vote based on the legality of pot……
let the suck nozzels get their buzz on the cheap and arrest free….. they’ll spend all of thier time and money at home…….. not breaking into my house where I’ll have to kill them for trying to take my hard earned shit to pay for it…..
Thomas, the point is, it isn’t just the hardcore users, it’s all the middle class assholes who will think the Won is just wonderful for this and it will make his popularity soar. yes, it will make the world a dumber place. Problem is, the dumb will be in charge.
