Buyers Remorse
Some time ago, an ad agency idiot named Tom wandered in here talking about what a wondrous world we lived in, that we were about to elect president Pixiedust.
Of course all the things I spoke of, and worse, have come to pass, more or less exactly as I predicted, and we never heard from Tom again. I wonder if he’s one of the libtards who has buyers remorse, furtively peeling the O sticker off his volvo, or if he actually likes what is taking place.

Don’t know about, Tom. But there are certainly many who have been saying, “That’s not what I voted for”. I’ve had a few coworkers and relatives apologize to me in the last few months.
Better late than never?
Where did that tard run off to?
I miss bitch slapping him.
In my limited and local experience, the folks who voted for this president never really had any idea what they were voting for, or why. Additionally, they have no real notion of the current economic, political, or social situation.
They don’t care, don’t know, and don’t care that they don’t know.
That being the case… very, very few have any regrets.
In a society where so many feel they are ‘owed’ a good life, and so many believe they have no responsibility or duty…. don’t be expecting many to give a moments thought to what they have done to the nation.
I go along with Carteach0 on this one. A lot of people voted because they were promised a bunch of free stuff, and are still waiting around for it.
There are also a lot of them in denial; I keep hearing them talk about how everything has gotten better since the Big O was elected, and you can’t convince them otherwise.
Some folks went for Shit Sandwich instead of Giant Douche. I think some of them are still chewing on it, wondering and bitching about when the gummint is coming through with those storebought teeth they were promised.
I know personally of 3 folks that voted for O. One is 92 years of age & she won’t change her mind or listen to anyone that says anything bad about obie. I cannot do much about her, as she’s my mother.
The other two regret voting for what was in one case promising “CHANGE” (which we got!) and the other gent, believed the NO Tax increase ever if you make less than $250 K. (I told him that obie just had the decimal point a few place off.)
Sadly the lamestream media, John McCain and George Bush had a lot to do with obies win. There was not a large difference in popular vote. Had the repubs fielded a strong candidate like several of the ones coming to forefront today, perhaps the story would be different.
If certain people were more interested in the actual substance of politics, worthless a$$holes like Øbama wouldn’t have a chance in hell of being elected.
That being said, I thought my wife and my mother had more sense. At least my mother (who is 82) is now saying she’s sorry she voted for the bastard. My wife, on the other hand, won’t even talk about politics, so she’s a lost cause.
They don’t know, they won’t learn, and they can’t hear or see – but they get to vote based on lotus-leaves.
As long as those who don’t contribute to the treasury have the vote, we will have this state of affiors continue to decline.
If we can restrict voting to taxpayers, the pandering to the welfare class will come to a screeching halt.
If the kids in your family, don’t have a say in how the money is spent, why do the parasites who don’t contribute get a voice?
Representation without taxation is tyranny… to the taxpayers!
