So: What say ye, should we pick a weekend, park all our asses around a campfire some friday evening, sleep in tents listening to one another fart and snore, wake up and race to the outhouses, then spend the day at a range blowing shit up, cook a bunch of stuff, eat it, another night around a fire, and bugger off sunday ayem?
I think a cookout/sleepout/shootout Ogmeet is in order sometime this spring/summer. Any takers? there are a LOT of fine campgrounds/shooting ranges in north and central indiana, we pay for the damned things, a LOT of them are very nice, whyn’t use them? I was thinking Tippecanoe for the park, and Winamac across the street for the shooting. Winamac has an EXTREMELY nice outdoor range, which is handicapped accessible. has, IIRC, a 25, 50, 100, and 200 yard range. Covered shooting positions. Clean and well maintained crappers. Tippecanoe is a nice camping/hiking area.
Hmmmm… If it was in the late fall, I’d go… never mind the fact that I am in freaking Minneapolis.
Can’t shoot (someday when I have a block of time to do it right – plus permanent free time to maintain the discipline…), but it’d sure be nice to see ya’ll in ways other than the black and white of the printed word.
