He didn’t say “don’t carry”, he said “is it really necessary to open carry in certain environments?”
The ruling is Teh Stoopid in a big way — it’s not the carrier’s fault that people wet their pants. The flip side, though, is that open carry should be accompanied by the knowledge that someone, somewhere, probably will wet themselves when they see you. It’s not right, but it is reality. And we have no more to right to insist they adjust to us than they have to insist we adjust to them. Again: Ruling = Stupid. But ignoring the potential for drama also = stupid.

he actually said “I fail to see the need” and I can only assume it’s because he’s got his eyes squeezed tightly shut. Anyone can see the need. As for open carry, sure, I understand it freaks people out. I don’t care, it’s not their business. if it IS their business, as in Walmart, or Piggly Wiggly, and they say “No open carry” or “no carry at all”, that IS their right, and I respect that, as they will learn to do without my money.

Open Carry is the only carry “allowed” in WI.
If they don’t want people to open carry, then we better get Shall-Issue.
It got to the Governor’s desk. Too bad for us the Gov is a giant Piece of SHIT called Doyle.

I am all for concealed carry and even some limited open carry, but I fail to see the need to open carry in wally world or the piggly wiggly…
So, tony, the people who have gotten shot in wally world and piggly wiggly don’t deserve protection? Sorry. Try again.

But not for long.
Did not know that about WI. I stand corrected on that one.
I guess my personal preference leans toward concealed carry simply because I am not on speaking terms with the Drama Llama. YMMV.
yes, indeed!
S’ok, we’re not here to shed heat but light.
Well, there’s an open carry picnic in West Salem, WI this Sunday.
