Come to south Florida where when it rains, the idiots stay in the left lane, turn on their 4 way flashers and drive very carefully at 20 mph. On interstate 95 at rush hour.
My favorite thing is to, while passing them on the right, drive my VW turbo Diesel through a large puddle, thus deluging the idiot. (at least it is not a Passat!)
You still should buy the Garand, you know it too. :-> LOL.
I outshot the guys with Garands, using my beat up old K31
Think how badly you could have smoked them with something that had real sights on it, like a… oh, I don’t know… say, A GARAND. :p

The swiss rifle has OK sights. The garands I’ve shot (partner’s and others) couldn’t hold. I like to shoot something I can hit things with, and I can, with this.
I feel your pain. The driving denizens of the DC area turn completely apoplectic with any kind of precipitation. Around here it’s the Hon-duh and uppity Prius drivers that are the worst.
OTOH, I own two Jettas, so what do I know? Maybe I’m just schizophrenic…

If you insist on using Swiss, I’ve got a Gew. 96/11 that works just like my K.31, but actually has some sight radius. You’re welcome to try it. :)
I like the Swiss because it’s nice, and I can about halfway shoot it. Wish to hell I could find as well made a firearm nowdays. The sight radius is what, like 22.5″? compared to the Garand at 27? not a lot of difference, really, at 100 yards. Hell, my eyes aren’t that good anymore. yes, i would love to shoot the 96/11. I have shot them before, and liked them immensely. We need to have a long gun blogshoot.
