They could have found someone at BP to operate the ROV that was more uncoordinated? I’ve used a bunch of robots and a bunch of waldoes, but I’ve never seen anyone who seemed so incompetent. maybe the equipment sucks, I dunno, but man, if I couldn’t work any better than that I’d be a riddler.

No kidding Dick, I can picture one of those sluggish walleyed housing project types like the TSA hires for Chicago airports trying to maneuver that gizmo. Considering how many breaks he’d take to run down the batteries and how many times he’d bang it around, it’d end up as one more piece of fail on the seabed.
