The Diaspora
The Ogs have never been spread so far and wide.
Gramma Og, creeping up on 70, never been more than one state away from home, picked up week before Mom’s day and left for California. My Aunt Roseanna went with her. Two tough old broads on a quest, sort of Thelma and louise on geritol. God love and keep ’em both.
The Ogwife is in Canada, attending an HS reunion
The Oglet is with her girl scout troop, on her first “solo” campout (she’s with sixteen GS mothers, 38 other girls and they are sleeping in sleeping bags in a cabin)hey, it’s a big adventure when you’re 9.
And, I’m in Arkansas, as I write this, getting my shit in one sock to come home. By tonight, God willing, all but Gramma will be home again, home again, jiggity jig. Gramma will be gone at least another month.
A lot of travelling for flatlanders.

i’ve been blogging about family too.
i miss mine. time to make a roadtrip up and see the folks.
Hit the road, pardner. Give those folks a big squeeze, spend some time. Send pictures.
