Military match
So I shot 306/500, which for me is just miserable, but i was only outshot by one old timer, who by all means should have out shot me.
I don’t know why the match coordinator makes us all sign up in divisions and then lumps the scores together. I shot 6th overall, but only one ahead of me was in my division, and the other four were using scopes. I outshot a lot of folks using scopes.
I’d like to have a diopter sight for that rifle before next match.
At least I didn’t embarras myself. Next year I will shoot far better than this.
I’m gathering you are shooting a K-31 like the one I gave a mutual friend. If so, they do make nice diopter sights for it, but sit down before you look up the price. They cost more than the rifle, but only because the K31 is a heck of a rifle for the price.

Graf & Sons has ’em – The St. Marie ones used to be cheaper that the Swiss W&F sights that go off on eBay for teh $toopid, but the price must have reached upwards to a market-demand level. I believe the guy at http://www.swissdagger.com/ has some, what I really want is a P210 to go with my K-31 – what I can *maybe* afford is an M1882/29 Ordnace Revolver…
