More progress
I’ve decided to make the Cushman look as much as possible like a well used and not too well cared for military vehicle. The latter ought to be easy to accomplish, the former should suffice with a decent coat of “desert sand” paint. I need to find a fabric for the seat that is both uncomfortable and long wearing while looking it’s worst from the very beginning. You know, in the classic military tradition.
Having gotten the brakes working, and the engine more or less running reliably, I feel I’ve made progress, but I’ve also got the “hood” painted and some of the dents beaten out of the rest of it.

Dude, bring that thing over and we can paint it……
semi-urban green camo pattern….
I’m going with the Desert Sand color. Don’t come through well in the pictures, but it’s pretty close, for cheap Krylon. Found a place to get all the military stencils and etc.
OH…Sorry, the nose looked white on my screen.
yeah, the picture is horrible
I am looking forward to getting this sucker earning its keep.
Oh man, that looks like a ton a fun.
A Quad Fifty mount in the bed would be the perfct accessory!
