Poor bugger indeed.
As an owner of an elderly classic sports car, I can almost feel the agony of the owner watching his beautiful machine go up in smoke.
The Ferrari might have been new or late model but it would have been a classic in the future. Damn few Ferraris of any year are not considered both classic and usually are automotive works of art.
I carry two fire extinguishers in my Jag and worry about as much about fire as I do about south Florida idiot drivers.

it was an erly 90’s vintage Testarossa. The owner- and apparently, his son, were leaning on the guardrail. The car was mostly gone from the middle of the door, back.
Are you sure two is enough for a Lucas-filled product?

Bummer. The Testarossa has the cool flat twelve engine. I’d love to own one and I probably wouldn’t mind working on it too much, but I would hate to buy parts for it.

I saw that. Sad to see a FErrari go that way.
