Alderman Ed Burke, re the new Chicago gun registry laws
Ask him how well restraining orders work for protecting a woman from an abuser. Now a registration is supposed to protect people just as well?
Teaching people to not act like a bunch of animals, well that is never mentioned. Getting rid of “no snitch” and turning killers and gun using criminals in to the police so they get locked away, not an option. Making thugs and gang bangers into pariahs instead of the guys the pretty women flock to for the bling, where the guy who works and tries the right way isn’t snubbed by them as a “Poindexter” dork, nah.
And for these armed gangs to be able to roam under the Byrne gun ban, someone had to be on the take for that to happen in the wide open in the first place.
Why mts, are you suggesting that the political types of the city of Chicago (and the county of Cook) are corrupt? I am shocked! Shocked, I tell you!!
In all seriousness, “da mayor”, and his toadies in city hall, should all be frog marched to the state pen for all the offenses they have committed or have allowed to be committed. (That goes for the majority of folks down in Springfield too.)
While there, they should have the complete 2nd amendment tattooed on their arm, with the words “shall not be infringed” underlined.
Don’t forget that those self-same alterboys passed a law that allows aldermen to carry concealed.
That’s because he can’t tell the difference between law-abiding citizens and convicted felons.
And if they exempted themselves from laws they are passing on others then they obviously need to be booted out of office since they’ve lost the whole ‘public SERVANT’ idea.
Put it plain, say it loud and long, and don’t ever let up until these bigots slink off the public stage in red-faced shame.
Burke and his ilk are no better than the post-Civil-War KKK. They want a registry so that, when nobody’s looking or a convenient “emergency” gives them what they think is cover, they can disarm all the black people, rendering them defenseless in the face of all manner of two-legged predators.
(Not to say that their lust for power allows them to limit their perfidy to black people.)
They’re racist bigots through-and-through, they hate America and freedom, and they think they’re qualified to lord it over the rest of us.
Sooner or later, that truth has to break through, but it’s only going to if freedom-loving Americans press it home at every opportunity.

Well, I’d suggest that since he thinks so much of registration, his testicles should be registered.
Which would require having a serial number permanently stamped on each, of course.
