I opted out (though I don’t recall opting in) and it’s still being a turd.
I’m trying to enter this on FF a second time after I clicked the stop icon.
The first time I tried I got the following message:

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
Ok, that time it went through.
I’m happy to hear this works without issue on IE. I already know Google Chrome works, but I don’t like to use it.
I clicked the back button and it loaded OK. I’ll keep doing that rather than go somewhere else to opt out of something I never opted into.
I opted out and it seems to have worked–now I just have to do it on my other computer.
I’ve been using the back button too in Firefox and that works. Explorer works with no problem as does my Blackberry browser and Safari on my ITouch. Haven’t tried Opera.
FF is a no go, still.

FF has been a total pain in the ass lately.
Scratch that. Had to re-start firefox and still having to use my back-button.
FF still not working for me- using IE to read your site.
“Opted-out” & that didn’t do it either…
I’ve got the timing down so that I can freeze this page. I can’t just use the backspace key or icon, I’ve got to click on and bring down the backspace menu, click on a Neanderpundit choice, and as soon as I release, then click on the stop icon. It’s worth it not having to open another browser because I like FF’s tabs option and recovery scheme.
