Ring in the stupid.
The International Machine Tool SHow in McCormack PLace is a solid month of setup and teardown.
The Carpenters union just went on strike.
1/12 of their annual income has just decided to move to Las vegas.
Nice work, you fucktards.

I once saw “Striking the set” defined as “The entire cast and crew standing around, watching the two people with Makita drills take everything apart.”
I guess unions are the same everywhere.
Doesn’t surprise me. Anyone who think that a 2 week training program is something only they can successfully complete is a two by four short of a house.
You know, maybe the Union Thugs have got it right. Maybe it IS all about Class Warfare. But what they forgot to see is that it is turning into a War between the Union Class and the Working Class, and they don’t have enough Thugs to win. Stupid Commie Fucktards.
Well, at least in Vegas you’ll be able to get some Full-Auto Trigger Time at one of the Rent- A- Ranges out there.
…
There was a time in American history where unions actually HELPED people.
That time is long past.
Unions and Trade-Shows – there you have the very the definition of parasite.
I keep thinking of the Kenny Rodgers song, “you gotta know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em.” There’s been strikes all summer. I saw a new strike sign on US 30 east of Sedley by the sand quarry in Porter County on Friday.
If I was an employer, I’d be itching to idle stuff and go into mothballs until the rules are defined and I can once again do business in a clear environment. Why do these unions strike in a recession/depression? Let the old contract ride, then make hay when the recovery hits and the boss doesn’t want to miss out on the upswing. I just don’t understand their tactics.
Fucktard won’t be descriptive enough once those of us clinging to our guns and religion see another big confiscatory tax increase to bail out unfunded union pension liabilities. I have held the belief for quite some time now that the unfunded pension issue will be THE issue that becomes the straw that finally breaks the patience of the unwashed masses. Previously, you mentioned dancing shoes…………………
There is no deal so good a union doofus won’t fuck it up.
