Why Dick Durbin isn’t being drawn and quartered for treason?
And, if our government hasn’t got the balls to do this necesary thing, why decent Illinoisians haven’t strung his treasonous ass up from a lamppost? We cannot tolerate this any longer.
Listen: Gitmo detainees are treated better than a lot of US prisoners. I KNOW. I have WORKED in the US prison system. Terrorists are being given more rights.
Think it’s accurate to compare gulags or nazi camps to Gitmo? Face it, you’re just stupid, you’re not merely wrong, you’ve drunk the coolaid so long you have NO idea what the truth is. here’s the truth: these assholes are enemy combatants. We have the right to kill them. Period. We owe them nothing.
people went to gulags and nazi camps in masses, never to return. No due process. No court. Just torture (horrendous torture, that would make you vomit to hear about it) starvation, abuse, and death. No, nothing like Gitmo at all. Fact is, the state officials that SENT the people to the death camps and gulags? probably don’t live as comfortably as the average Gitmo detainee. It’s the truth. Don’t agree? you’re wrong, provably, demonstrably wrong, and you better get used to the idea.
And get rid of this treasonous partisan asshole. He has lost his membership in the human race.
Durbin use to be a decent enough guy. But that was back when I was in college and tended to be more liberal in my thoughts. The democrats seem to be what is wrong with America as of late. I miss the way the Democratic Party use to be. They use to have a backbone. They use to not disagree just to show they were not Republicans. They use to have a just purpose like protecting the working class. Now they reward the poor for staying that way. They tout how wrong war and terrorism is and then how they would fix it if given the opportunity. What, with a broken social program? There is a great idea. America should be more united during trying times. Terrorism will not bring this country to it knees. Its own people will be its downfall.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. Durbin, like Dean, should keep his trap shut. If I was still in Illinois he would be one that would not get my vote. Hopefully the rest of Illinois will feel the same way…

Unfortunately, the Democrats have been so boldly and universally seditious (at best) or treasonous (at near-to worst) for so long that Washington seems to see their behavior as being patriotically prickly. Business as usual.
Also: members of Congress are constitutionally immune from legal hassle (IIRC) “while traveling to and from a session” (or something like that), which modern usage has translated into “I can get away with anything and you can’t touch me.” That old baronial arrogance of power.
And who’s going to take them down the requistite peg or two?
