Election day!!
I’m not guardedly optomistic. I’m not optomistic at all. Frankly, I’m all set to be annoyed and disapointed, all over the map. I won’t be discouraged if it all goes south, because I EXPECT it to all go south.
I’m voting anyway.

Voting as well. It won’t change a thing, but you have to use the first two boxes before you use the third.
Voted. It didn’t matter. My congressman is going to win re-election either way. A democrat didn’t even run against him. I voted for the independent candidate just to be contrarian. Also, we are using those new voting touchscreens, so I have no assurance that my vote will be tallied the way I voted it. There were also 3 inconsequential referenda. Don’t know why they were referenda. They were trivial.
Is it a handbasket to hell, or a rollercoaster? Baby it’s both, but who cares?

It may not change much, but at least we can say we went down trying.
With all due respect, if we stay home in apathy and self pity, we deserve what we get. Individually, we are a flea on an Asses ass. Collectively we have a chance to dine upon the Asses ass.
Never give up. Never quit. The third box is not a nice box. (even as I stockpile .308 and .45acp.)
Incidentally, I spent a large part of the day, making nice small groups at 100 & 300 yds.

At least you guys are voting real time. I hate to think how all those paper ballots will be tallied. If the margins are really big, they might not have enough fake votes to cover the spread.
I need to get a few more thousand rounds or so before it all ends.
