Punkin Chunkin
Loved the show, but it was less action and more BS. I did like the trebuchet that threw it’s whole arm.
Couple years back I made a PVC pipe trebuchet but I can’t help but think the trebuchet has been overdone. What this blog needs is a violent demonstration of meaningless destruction, I thought about making a giant drop hammer, and crushing things, like something that would crush beercans less than 1mm thick, or a giant mechanical beaver, but I’m almost in hibernate mode, so it’s difficult to get motivated to think. Any ideas, folks?

Meaningless Destruction?
Hmmm, well… Duck Dodgers seems to do a pretty good job of it:

This planet isn’t big enough for the two of us, so…. off you Go.
I’ve always been partial to both fire, and explosions. That must present a wide field for exploration.
A pair of gigantic hydraulic ass cheeks that smash smart cars and fart the debris into the air
I plan to make a crossbow from a car spring some day.
That’s the spirit! Keep ’em coming.
Cooking (and serving) a turkey the hard way:

This may not qualify to the specs of Og’s request being that the destruction was accidental (though not of the movie producers…), but it is fun to watch, nevertheless.
How about a black powder cannon that shoots a deadfall hammer at whatever you’re destroying?
Explosion, fire, smoke, kinetic energy, and destruction all rolled into one.
Hate to tell ya, Rube Goldberg did all this crap 3 generations ago…
That it’s all been done before doesn’t make it not fun now… er… you know what I mean.
A 6 barrel, PVC, air powered gatling gun that shoots ping pong balls
Whirling, pulsing tentacles of saw-blades and torches?
Already built, but what else could you use to strip groundcover, break rocks, detonate old mines and get ready for spring minelaying?
