note to self:
Don’t read lovecraft on your phone while sitting in a pitch dark tree stand. Gives you the heebie-jeebies.

Sacrificing a whitetail to the Elder gods? As long as you get the back strap.
You get no points for common sense, although I suppose it’s a better choice than “To Build A Fire.”
Joanna – “To Build a Fire” is just a cautionary tale that illustrates why you shouldn’t travel alone in the wilderness in extreme cold. I like to read it on a hot summer evening to help me cool off. :-)
You know the other worst place to read Lovecraft? Maine. In winter.
Miskatonic is in Maine, you know…
“Why are these birds calling ‘Tekeli-li’?”
Bout some time a big buck comes down behind you and snorts a big one, you won’t be needing an outhouse any more.
Should thng peaceful thoughts whilst in your stand…the deer can smell you getting the heebie-jeebies……..
Children will always be afraid of the dark, and men with minds sensitive to hereditary impulse will always tremble at the thought of the hidden and fathomless worlds of strange life which may pulsate in the gulfs beyond the stars, or press hideously upon our own globe in unholy dimensions which only the dead and the moonstruck can glimpse.
yea… what Brigid said…
You’re too funny Og. Nothing that singing a silly song couldn’t cure.

Meep meep meep… unfortunately it will scare the deer away. Oh well.
Parts of MHI are bad for hunting too. Too much action. Hard to sit still.
