Must have had some kind of a water main issue
here in little Pontiac, Illinois, because I ran the shower last night for less than a minute and the whole room smelled like a YMCA. They never used to have that much chlorine in the water.
Need to find a Snuggie for the Exploder. Poor old girl isn’t used to being outdoors at night in this weather.

Every Spring and Fall we have the same issue. The Front Range covered reservoirs see a structural “turn over” in their water as the ambient outdoor temps change. Hence, the level of turbidity and available nutrients for the narsties what cause gastro-intestinal problems rises precipitously.
The answer: MO’BLEACH!
Gack!!!! — D and I fill five gallon buckets and allow them to sit until the chlorine gasses off.
For the Exploder…just charge the battery all night. Charging will keep the battery temp up (down to about 10-15 ambient). Beyond that, charge it AND heat it by means of a low-wattage heating pad bungeed around the battery.
In the YouPee of MI, I used to just bring the battery in at night…the old Toyota HiLux fired every time next morning, even down to -20 (ran 5-20W oil in her).
