rahm booted off the ballot
This is one of two things happening:
1: Rahm was always a stalking horse, and this is the way threy knew they were going to get him out from the beginning, or
2: Rahm will use this as a way to blame the right’s incivility to the left.
You watch. One or the nother.
Or he will get back in on appeal, minutes before voting and win in a landslide, despite not being on the ballot.
The Chicago way. Miracles can happen.

Most likely, the Ill. supreme court justices will receive a pile of dead fish and perhaps a horses head just before their decision. Rambo will win in a landslide and the people of Chicago will again and still have the government that they deserve.
The cynic in my says all three things will happen (your two suggestions along with the one presented by fellow commenters above) In Chicago politics (and to about the same extent, Illinois politics) all things are possible, given enough, time and or money. Hell, it worked for JFK back in 1960, why should they stop now.
Maybe Obama will get his buddy back.
