Does kind of bring new meaning to the peace of newly fallen snow.
Says something that the only creature stirring is man.
The news here makes it sound like y’all are getting yer asses kicked up there. We just got a little ice & I’m perfectly fine with that.

Our ice is delayed and will likely be only rain. Cold, horizontal rain. With Ice, I could stay home and get paid. But with rain, I just get wet.
Himself has set me up with the tractor and fully-functional snowblower ready to go since he’s probably not going to be home until Thursday night. Now just waiting for them to call work closed so I can go home.
I don’t have a snow shovel; but after the blizzard a year ago and today, I’m half-wishing I had a place to store a snowblower.
And I’m half-wishing I had a line of sight on the idiot who let Algore into the area.
I haven’t got the brains God gave Lint. But I love to murder the innocent, so that makes me better than you!!
Warm wife … check. Cold sangria … check. Chili … check. snack foods … check. Snowblower/shovels/teenagers … check. Gas heating/stove … check.
No problems here. Slated to have anywhere between 14-20 inches of the white stuff total (from late Monday night-throough Wed noon) when it is all said and done. Hope you get the white stuff and not the ice storm end of things.
In 2011, they call this a “Snowpocalypse.” A hundred years ago, they would’ve just called it “Wednesday.”
