Harry Reid concerned about cowboy poets.
Nothing, I just had to put that up there. I can’t imagine a statement that needs more loafer-lightener to make sense to anyone.

I’ll be sad at the demise of Cow-pie Haiku.
You mean you haven’t discovered Baxter Black and “Croutons On A Cowpie”?
I write”cowboy” poetry. Been invited and performed at Elko 3 times, years back. Do quite a few gigs around here locally and in neighboring states. I see no reason why they need to use federal funding to keep one going. Most don’t get it or need it. Might be cuz it’s run out there by Lib’s?
Can you imagine a cowboy applying for a federal grant to write poetry?
Probably he was concerned for his buddy barney wouldn’t be able to find any kindrid souls when visiting Elko.
You know what’s easier thn writing poetry? Learning chords on an acoustic guitar. Now,if you put the
guitar chords together with the cowboy poetry, you get Country and Western music. None of that needs federal funding. Just charge $5.00 a head and $5.00 a beer. $10 for a bourbon.
“They’re gonna put me in the movies…”
M-bird: That’s free market at it’s best!!

That was hilarious! Any government funding?
Let me start over.
“Ghost Riders in the Sky”.
Heh… the Muppet Show? I don’t think so, M-bird. Though Jim Henson did work for Sesame Street at one time years ago.
Ghost riders in the sky?
Ha! They did that too!
Straight from the ‘Muffin Theatre’ where everyone is having a ‘swill’ time!
