Chromed
And it only took 45 minutes!
Actually, not quite 45. It just seemed like it. But it’s running, and now I’ve lost a lot of my edit features in WordPress, a lot of other shit. It seems to work better, lets me go to the sites IE wouldn’t, but the tabbed browsing is a little clunky and i can’t figure out how to get it to let me set the new tab default page. I’m sure there are other things, but those are the most annoying ones at present.

Just saw a piece on Jim Rawle’s Survival Blog about a piece of malware called “LizaMoon” thats a SQL Server Attack that is screwing up websites all over the globe. It’s in his “Odds and Sods” section. Hope this helps.
Og,
I recommend the tabjump, flashblock, adblock, and chrome toolbox extensions.
The chrome extension library isn’t nearly as extensive as firefox’s, but they’re generally more reliable, and use less memory.
Oh and I recommend xmarks to everyone.
Been usin’ Firefox 4 (Beta). Gettin’ used to it and like it. And LizaMoon might be a good bet.
If Google doesn’t want you to be able to change the tab settings, then you don’t need to.
Remember those Libs running Google know better than you how your computer needs to run :-)
I’ve been running Chromium (the version of the browser sans Google analytics and spyware) with Ubuntu on the laptop for a couple of months now, being that I got fed up with Firefox and the whole darn computer getting lockjaw on unresponsive scripts all the freakin time. It is pretty bare bones. But I’m sure there’s ways to beef it up, and you’ll be soon appraised of them.
