   $3.75 in York PA this morning, with occasional dips to $3.55 depending on where you are in town.

   In NOVA yesterday afternoon we bought gas for $3.65. There were so many stations in a wide geographical area at that price that I joked it must be the state-mandated maximum.

   I hope it hits $10 in Cook County. Suffer, fools.

   We just reached the $4.00 mark yesterday, out here in the hinterlands of Northern Illinois. Guess I am too damn old, cause I still remember 20 cents a gal for regular (leaded) gas. (Also remember 10 cent a pack for smokes, 20 cents a long neck, and a quarter a Coke … stories for another time.)
