Now we all know that the Won is legally qualified to be the president.
And that is the ONLY qualification he has met, so far. He has no other qualities that are even remotely useful to our little Republic, and is by now doing precisely the job he wants to do, which is to destroy it and remake it in his image.

Still don’t care. To me, it’s like wondering if you’ve had your emissions inspection twenty laps into the Indy 500. The things that he has done are so egregious that even if he were not legitimately qualified to be the POTUS, that simple bit of crap is completely eclipsed by the Porkulous, the healthcare bill, the asinine non- budget, etc.

As to why wasn’t it released, well, you’re why. (I mean, not you personally, naturally.)
Having a small horde of people obsessing over his birth and making a fuss about it made them look like obsessive nutcases – especially when he released it at the end as a “will you people finally just get over it?” gesture.
Pure politics – and plainly one thing he or his handlers have some skill at, ’cause it totally worked, didn’t it?
The fact that his birth was announced in the local paper at the time – which was widely reported in the blogs the first time this issue came up – laid it to rest for pretty much everyone who wasn’t barking mad.
hey, in my mind, I still don’t have what I consider to be ‘proof” but then it’s never been an issue to me. It is the content of his character that disables him to be president, not the origin of his birth.

Oh… and yes. I was one of those who wanted him to show his Birth Certificate. Not going to pretend otherwise. From my perspective, it was a reasonable (millions of dollars of sealed records reasonable).

And yes, it was perfectly legitimate for Americans to ask to see his BC. And he should have shown it the very first day. This has all been a red herring, and not that it is no longer capable of being a distraction, a new red herring will show up soon.

You know, if someone puts a lot of time and effort into conning me, at least he gives me a backhanded compliment that he has to jump through those hoops to fool my intelligence. Assuming you will never get the actual Registrar of Births to testify, you do a standard, Mark One Mod Zero rundown with Forensic Analysis on the document, and you come up with at least 4 major exceptions, which is more than enough to cast Reasonable Doubt on it’s veracity.
That said, the Right has been played for fools all along: this was a Cloward-Piven Strategy from the beginning, and we all fell for it. The Donald had enough chops to end the strategy, so it’s over. Now, maybe, just maybe, we can integrate the “birthers” back into the Right side, so we can get about defeating the other, bigger Cloward-Piven Strategy, “we’re recovering from the recession”.
Obummer won’t be able to run on his economic record if we successfully cast doubt on his claim that the US is actually recovering from the recession.
