Did you lose the car keys here?
No, says the drunk, I lost them over by the car. “Why look for them here?” says the passerby, “Under the streetlight?”
“because” says the drunk ‘The light is so much better here”
So many people are not secure in their faith, or claim to have no faith.
I expect it’s because of where they are looking. The light is apparently better where everyone is selling Belief.
I’m starting to not be surprised that people looking there are not finding what they expect. If you look to Ernest Angley, or Pat Robertson, or Mother Angelica, or Benny Hinn trying to find faith, you’ll be disapointed.
It doesnt’ take much to be disillusioned by the so-called ‘Faithful”. It also doesn’t take very much to find real faithful, if you’re not afraid to learn there is such a thing.

I very rarely talk (or write) about faith. I made an exception and wrote something in my blog: http://northwest1524.blogspot.com/2011/05/faith.html
I hadn’t even intended to write it – it just came out.
RE: Pat Robertson – Like anything else, Salvation doesn’t come cheap. You get what you pay for. So pony up.
lol.
You got that right, Guy.
“Officer,” said the drunk, “somebody stole my car.”
“Oh, great,” thought the officer to himself. “How do you know it was stolen?”
The drunk held up a car key. “It was attached to this here key,” he said.
“Ok, buddy,” replied the cop. “Let’s go down to the station and fill out a report on your stolen car.” Noticing that the drunk’s fly was unzipped, he said, “Better zip your fly there, neighbor.”
The drunk looked down at his trousers. “Damn, they got my girl, too,” he said sadly.
