lines in the sand
Far too many people draw their line in the sand immediately outside their own front door. And of course, the moment that line is crossed, it’s too late to do anything about it.
Long ago, the .gov lost my respect and care. Listen: We will never vote our way out of this mess. We will never fix this. No -archy of any kind is the answer. This little republic of ours worked pretty well until we let the retards creep in.
I never watched that ‘Firefly” series. I only just saw the movie in it’s entirety a couple of weeks ago, so I had no idea of the origin of the phrase “I aim to misbehave”.
Aim?
I been misbehaving all my life. I don’t know any other behavior.

You aren’t one for putting things in their proper order. The movie was made to tie up the loose ends in a story line that was left hanging when the series got cancelled. It is pointless without watching the series first.
“You aren’t one for putting things in their proper order.” Wha… huh?
Prof, I love you, but you gotta back away from the bong. I’m sure you’re the biggest Serenty fanboi ever and can tell me everything about it, but- listen carefully- I don’t care. The post was not about any of that except very tangentially. If the movie was their A game, watching the series would be a waste of my time. Reading comprehension: F-
You sure get defensive for someone who doesn’t care. But the truth is, I didn’t really understand anything else you were talking about either. To continue with what you don’t care about, the movie was definitely better, but the movie was better still if you knew the back story.
Defensive?
I get annoyed when people miss the point of the post. Which has whooshed past you like a concorde.
When your line is your front door, you are going to be awfully lonely there.
Exactly, Duck. The line has to be at THEIR front door.
I think I missed something, but this sounds 4th amendment. If someone kicks a door in, someone is gonna get a facefull. Not every time, but eventually.
Don’t be saying “bong” ‘lessen you gotst some……….
lol. Yes, ted, the whole point of the post is the fourth amendment. There are a lot of heads-in-the-sand folk who believe “As long as nobody bothers me, I don’t care what they do”. That’s drawing the line in the sand right outside your door. You need to draw the line in the sand outside- for instance- the Supreme court. They are the ones that need containment, not the rest of us.
I’m relatively sure that even after Lexington and Concord, and even after Bunker Hill, people were still shouting “Peace, peace!” Nobody knows exactly who fired that first shot. It didn’t really matter then and it won’t matter in the near future. But it will be fired. Of that I am certain…
It only took three percent of the new Americans to kick Georges ass.
We have had ‘no knock’ “sorry wrong address” for thirty years.
The people are not there yet. The fuse is lit, but it may take a little more to rile ’em up.
