Finally broke down
and soilversoldered the quarter rib to the Arisaka. Hope to be able to hit the range tomorrow, however briefly, to put a couple shots through it, and see where the point of impact is.
The hands are still twitching from the test. I hope it goes away soon. be embarrassing to squeeze off the trigger totally unexpectedly.

Still? Dude, I had that test and the twitching was done pretty quickly. Course I did not get them to turn the needle up into fry catagory either.
I have been able to control mine pretty well with some mods to environment and some applicaiton of chiropractic care.
YMMV. Have a good day at the range.
The dr said he couldn’t believe how much current i endured, made the girl come back in and redo that part of the test. The twitching stopped about mid saturday afternoon.
Not having surgery is apparently not an option, he figures I’ll lose the use of my hands in another year without it.
Yeah, that is what my surgeon told me. He said that the nerve was inflamed whick he would treat by scraping the tunnel it goes through and then cutting the nerves that report the pain.
I dunno, but killing the feed back circuits is a pretty good way to overload the machine, in my book.
I did away with coffee, chocalate and some alchol which reduced the infalmation and then started using a track ball more.
Like I say, your mileage may vary, but they can always cut.
I’ve been cut enough that I really want to put off the need for more.
Cuttage is not my idea of a good time either, but my problem isn’t due to inflamation, apparently.
That sucks. At least once you find the agent that causes the inflamation it is livable. Course I avoid chocolae like the plauge. Not sure if the trade is worth it all the time but walking still bets the wheel chair. I guess.
I have dropped chocolate for 40 days (Lent) and the net result was a 40 day bad mood. Simultaneously cut coffee consumption by about 80%. That cranked me up to a near murderous rage. Nsaids etc, have had no effect.
My dr got the results today, and apparently the medial nerve in my right hand is completely without sensation. Yay! This is all mechanical, caused by an injury, I’ve always known that, and I’ve never gotten anyone to pay attention to it.
The pain in my hands was getting to the point it was distracting me from concentrating on my day’s work- I keyboard a lot and use a mouse. I swapped back to a Logitech Trackball the wife quit using, and the next day I was back to compartmentalizing the discomfort without any problem. Might be worth a try to borrow one for a day or two.
