Closeout aisle bargains
Last year, at the end of deer season, I bought two Stearns rainsuits. They were xxl, which then wouldn’t have fit me but now do just fine. So I wanted to know how they worked, and I slipped into one and went out to clean the gutters.
Drug the ladder up and down the gutters digging the catkins out. Hands got soaked, of course, but otherwise, not a drop of rain penetrated, and I came in and removed the suit, dry as a bone. Definitely reccomend, and on clearance at Walmart, they were $4. Comes in a nice cloth bag into which they can easily be reinserted once dried and folded.
Chinese, unfortunately, but many of Stearns other products are still made in US.

A lot of things are running though my mind at this point, not least of which is mental imagery lol

Grampa (both, actually) and dad always avoided the storms, and got hit anyway. I stand out in them with metal objects!!
