Equipment suggestion bleg
I currently pick range brass into a BSA bag I got at the last Shot show. It is very appropriate, and does the job well, but it’s somehow not as amusing.
I tend to have an odd sense of… whimsy, for lack of a better word. I use an air-polluting 46 year old tractor to mow my lawn, and a similarly aged tiller. I have a Kindle on which I have read very few books written in this century- or the last one, for that matter.
What I want is the “greenest” damned bag I can get, to collect brass. I had a Trader Joes bag but that just doesn’t have the right cachet. I had a Tiffany’s bag, but that’s just not headed in the right direction. If they made a “Prius” bag that would be closer, and a “Brady campaign” bag would be nearly PERFECT, especially if it had a big “Recycled” log on it, but I don’t know if any such thing exists. Anyone have any suggestions? If you do please link me to a place where I might get what you describe.

Oh, I think a PETA bag would be just the thing.

Ooh, that’s a good one. I may have to get several and rotate them. But I hope I get a bunch of suggestions.

Thats a good one too! It would be great if I didn’t have to donate money to gloebull warmening charities though. Maybe I can find one used.

An NPR tote bag? Preferably one from a consignment shop?
That’s good too!
Ummm, I got a large heavy bag that says:”PROPERTY OF U. S. ARMY, FORT KNOX, KENTUCKY, USA”.
You can just have it, it’s empty now.
It pained me to look, but here goes:

Enough for now, gonna hurl…
I use a mesh bag from REI. They look just like regular brass bags, but come in tacticool blaze yellow with REI logo on them. Cry hippie, cry!
LOL! That’s nice, especially as i know some real hardcore hippoie types who love REI.
The really cool bag will have to be made from hemp.
How about this one

Jennifer’s etsy suggestions would have the added benefit of being able to tell the “crafter” how you used their creation in “Feedback”…
I myself use an old 5-gallon bucket. Either laundry detergent or pancake syrup. I usually pack my stuff inside the pail when going in and carry out the contents in one hand and a filled can in the other!
But we’ll see about scoring you a Brady Campaign bag!
