The weather here
has been tasty, though warm. We had a tiny shower a bit ago, and they say maybe thunderstorms tonight, which will just help me sleep all the better.
Lots of people drinking their way through this week, it’s a holiday here. Me, I just watch and giggle.
What holiday?
August holiday. It’s canuckistan.
Meh… It’s 107º here as I type, but I have a cool drink and life continues.
Did I mention I finally broke down and bought a new truck? Yeah…
And Stinky’s been assigned to the Vella Gulf CG-72.
Other than those minor things, not much has happened.
Sweet! How’s the sprout doing? I may be down there for a short bit this fall.
Let’s see… he’s still at Great lakes Naval Station, finishing up “A school” until the 16th (Op’s Spec’). Then he gets about ten days leave in which he’ll be coming home, hopefully as a PO3.
Then he’ll head to Norfolk to join his ship and fleet.
