I’m probably not as big a fan of Roy Underhill as you are, but I do remember spending more than one Saturday morning watching him, and then later in the morning watching the New Yankee Workshop, and noting the progress of the last 200 years.

That was a great saturday lineup.
usually it was Ren and Stimpy, then a couple eggs and bacon, and Woodwright’s shop and new yankee.
At least I did SOMETHING educational.

I loved watching that show because it made me feel competent. Hey, if Mr. Big-Shot TV Guy regularly bleeds all over his project then I must be doing something right. :P
