Comes the time of year
when I’m no longer likely to burst into flames while crooning doing yardwork, so I’m hustling to get stuff done to hasve the house snugged up prior to winter. The plan is to get two cords of wood high and dry, and under cover. Get the east windows of the sunroom weatherproofed and painted. Get the back porch paving stones relaid and releveled.
So I’ll be asshole deep in alligators for a while, till winter sets in, anyway. Hopefully I’ll have everything done by then.
Soon as I can I’ll try to get some more pics of the whatsis.

This is the season men folk are busy snugging up the house, securing the fort against the oncoming winter weather. And six months from now is the season women folk will be ass deep in alligators with spring cleaning from a house that was closed up for the six months prior and prepping a yard for spring planting of edibles and pretties.
