Bargain rack DVDs are the bomb.
Last weekend we found “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” for five bucks. The ogwife, having heard of it but never seen it, buys it. Fine by me!!
Annyway, she watched it with the Oglet, and they both liked it. What’s not to like? And now I have I think every Audrey Hepburn movie on the shelf.
Now if I could buy ‘Carbine Williams” for $5, I’d be in fat city.

WOT –
Og, what caliber is your double? I just scored three boxes of .405 Win and such a deal I can make you on it. Drop me an email if you can use it.
45-70, but thanks! I think Tam has a Contender in 405, you should ask her!
That’ll work. Also got a half doz boxes of Hordney(sp?)45-70. I’ll send you a couple.
What, no .401 Winchester SLR? I used to have one of those carbines, the Model 1901, first self-loading production rifle in the world, IIRC. The .401 WSLR is about equal in power to the 10mm, maybe a bit stronger. The rifle was a detachable-magazine-fed blowback (mag only held 4 or 5 rds), and the gun, for a shorty carbine, weighed over 9#, it was a bitch to work the op-rod, you had to dismount the rifle and put the butt on the ground or against your thigh. It had a 2# bolt, was pure blowback-operated, and a FIERCE recoil spring. Ammo not made anymore, when my Dad last bought ammo, he paid Kynoch $250 to make him 50 rounds, and that was back in the 80’s.

sorry, guy probably sold his .401WSLR before I got there, heh.
FWIW, a couple of gun shows back a guy had a .348(?)WSLR and a .401WSLR rifle for sale along with a couple of boxes of ammo for both. I’ll keep an eye out for some ammo if you want.
