I tried to make any sense of what that woman was trying to say, but the ensuing headache made me quit.
Meanwhile, in Egypt, along the Apocalypse vein, they shut access to the Giza pyramid since the government thought a group of Jewish Masons (?) were going to use magic to make it theirs. I don’t know what they thought: was it going to float away to Tel Aviv? Were they going to plant a flag on the tip top (the ben-ben), and as a result the Egyptians would have to shrug their shoulders and say, “We have to let them have it; after all, they have their flag on top?” (Eddie Izzard flag routine reference)
This craziness, not to mention all of the burning of Coptic churches, all happening since democracy has flowered in the Arab Spring. Hell, the Iraqi and Palestinian democratically elected governments decimated the Christian population in those areas to where it’s looking like there will be no Christians left in the cradle of Christianity.
Maybe things like an elected republic, soap and water, and basic civilization IS beyond certain areas, at least as of this moment. Sadly, it reminds me of the African saying, “one man, one vote, one time.”
Thankfully most of the nutbag racist “rabbis” are found in Jerusalem or the near environs thereof, all waiting for Mashiach ben David to come make the world right. Or as right as they think He’ll make it.
They’re nearly as bad as the RIF imams. And ought to be put down the same way.
Of course, the article doesn’t mention the WORST orthodox head-in-sand rule: no electronics of any kind may be used between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday.
I wonder if the Israeli military turns off all their sensors and warning systems during that weekly Sabbath period? I’d bet not, which leads me to believe that this sort of talk is a ruse to keep the rest of the world guessing about Israeli preparedness.
BTW, the ultra-orthodox are very small minority, never able to swing more than 8-12 seats in the Knesset.
Of course the voice of women stirs up sexual thoughts in men. That’s one of the good things about them. If one is a reasonably self-controlled grownup, this is no big deal.
Clip Clop.

MTS — Jewish Mason here. And I have no interest in owning a piece of a pyramid :) You just know those things were built by the lowest bidder.
