“It’s slippery. I had forgotten how slippery it was”
Kill that man now. And anyone else who says anything that stupid. They are fucking up our race by breeding idiots into the gene pool. He was a man in his 60’s too.
Good lord. Look, folks, it’s the same SNOW every year. It acts the same way. It has the same properties. It’s slippery. Deal. If you can’t, move south, for the Love of God.

Now Og, be charitable. This is another bit of fallout (falldown? downfall?) we must blame on global warming. There’s barely anyone still alive who recalls what snow is like.
As for saving the gene pool, given that he’s 60, chances are you’re too late.

You say he was in his 60’s — it could be he’s suffering from “Why is everybody mumbling all of a sudden? I can’t hear a word you’re saying!” syndrome. He didn’t “forget” that the snow is slippery, he’s just in denial about the fact that his balance and stability have gone downhill since last winter.

Down here in the Arizona desert it’s the inverse. There’s always some dipshit who in the middle of July says, “You know what, it is sure hot here.”
“You know what, it is sure hot here.â€
Followed immediately by “but it’s a dry heat” then hopefully gunfire.
It’s not (mostly) genetic.

Especially re. TV news – it seems like they train themselves to act like idiots.
Lighten up. If even the Eskimos, not a really-nuanced people, have dozens of words for snow, there MUST be degrees of slippery-ness to it.
I remember snow on which it took a block to brake from 15 mph, and snow so sticky that I had to set up a power-slide to make a J-turn in. All on the same road, in differing weather conditions.
Yes, there IS slippery snow. It usually gets that way within 2 degrees of freezing. Colder than that, less slippery, much colder than that, 80% of the traction of a dry road.
The fact that the interviewEE came off like a dork has more to do with the interviewER than anything else.
This wasn’t heavily edited, it was just a guy standing in front of the camera acting like he’d never seen snow before in his 60+ years. Dog, there’s plenty of people of that ripened condition more than capable of remembering how to drive from one season to another.
I’ve always found it funny that the same people who tend to rail against the divine and in favor of natural selection then turn to the divine government to prevent the process of natural selection from working upon people and society…just an observation.
