I has a lazy.
I will clamp the deer head down and saw off the antlers and skullcap. Maybe. I will also split up a round Mr B left me, so it’s not in front of the shed anymore. Otherwise I’m drained of ambition.

My bro skullcapped an 8 pointer and mounted it on a varnished board- it hangs over the fireplace and looks purty good, if not as impressive as a a full head. If one goes to the Jagdhuette in Germany and Austria, one sees that a lot more than the whole heads.
The europeens tend to mount more skulls than animals, and it’s easier for the most part. I know at leat one person who has a big case of dermestid beetles, and i briefly considered taking it to him.
Only briefly.
Lazy can be good, very good. If one lies down somewhere comfortable and warm, sleep may occur, causing lazy to fade into the past where it can be conveniently forgotten. That is my favorite method of dealing with my lazy.
borax pot and heat. Cleans the skull clean as a pin.
Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger….
My get up n’ go got up n’ went.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled turkey-leftover induced food coma.
