For the first time, I actually feel old.
Conair is making an electric trimmer to deliberately leave beard stubble.
Stubble is now a grooming choice.
Get off my lawn, you unshaven little cocksuckers.

There were devices like that in the 1980s, too. Miami Vice prompted the sale of “The Miami Device” which did exactly the thing this Conair appliance does: leave stubble, so you could look just like Don Johnson in your Jordache jacket and designer sunglasses!
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go vomit.
I have an old one….seen my face lately?
B, you were born scruffy.
I haven’t shaved since around 1993.
I trim my beard with a full sized Wahl electric hair clipper, and I burn them out around every one and a half to two years even when I keep them cleaned and oiled properly.
Last time I shaved was in 1989.
I’ve had a Wahl model 5577 beard trimmer for years and I love it. Runs off an AC wall-power transformer. I got tired of the rechargables, they did not last.
I got rid of the beard when it started turning grey while my hair was still primarily dark(when I had some); getting old I can deal with, but I don’t really want to bloody advertise it.
I see that Mr. Hering beat me to it.
I remember the 80s, by God, and you should, too.
I had the beard trimmer. The motor wasn’t nearly powerful enough.
I’m thinking of upgrading to whatever they use to shear wool.
Sigvald:
If you remember the 80’s, you weren’t living large, and/or you weren’t doing it right.
Clean shaven every day.
My old D.I. may still be around.
