the problem with vacation time, is there’s altogether too damned much stuff waiting to be done around the house, for you to really enjoy it.
On the upside, some stuff is getting done; on the downside, I’m burning valuable goofing off time.

I’m alphabetizing books. No matter how many times I’ve looked at a shelf I always seem to find another one with an ‘A’ author…..
I can never truly relax while at home or within easy driving distance of home. All I see and think about is the stuff that needs to be done and ain’t nobody gonna do it septin’ me.
I have to go far, far away to really relax. The last time I went far away all I did was sleep. Trying to recharge from them damned honey gotta do lists.
I am thinking I may have to pull the transfer case on my 4runner this weekend. Small leaks are getting bigger. I should do something about it before it snows.
Yeah, looks like the noise in the Sploder is coming from the front diff. I’d rather not have it strand me, but I don’t relish the idea of laying under a truck at the yard to get the parts I want.
I should find an excuse to come by there with spark plugs and oil change stuff for the Jeep. Maybe that would motivate you.
…and maybe it would keep you from doing anything with your truck.
So much is uncertain.
