Og, can you imagine brushing your teeth with urine.

I was talking about this at work yesteday with my boss, who is an ex-Marine.
We arrived at the conclusion that the problem was not the act itself, but the recording of the act itself for posterity.
Which ever person thought videoing the act was a good idea is the one who needs to be tought a lesson.
I’d like to send that videographer 20 pieces of silver.
…yeah, as far as I can tell there are only two things wrong there…and in fact I can’t help thinking that these might be mutually exclusive:
1) Videotaping it.
2) Not tossing bacon on ’em.

I look at it this way . . . if George S. “Blood and Guts” Patton can piss in the Rhine as he crossed into Germany, a few Jarheads pissing on the dead and rotting corpses of our sworn enemy should be no big deal. Our country seems to have lost its national resolve to defeat anyone who wants to kill us. Hell, we should dip the tip of each of our bullets in “the sandbox” in lard before issuing them to the boots on the ground. In short . . nothing to see here, move along, move along. Gah.

The ragheads were already dead and had obviously pissed themselves. The marines were just trying to help them not feel bad about it by covering for them in an awkward moment. I hope there are guys like that around with the courtesy to piss on me after they kill me.
The only objection I can see is that the grunts were making policy above their paygrade. Of course, that doesn’t say much for the actual policy makers, but there you go. That’s what you get for electing a commie ratbastard CinC.

Urine has been used for shampooing hair (Eskimos) and washing the skin (several cultures).
Obviously the Marines were just cleaning and tidying up the corpses.
Remember, when leaving your “camp grounds” always insure your fire and associated embers are completely extinguished …only you can prevent forest fires!

In USAF SERE School (Survival, Evasion Resistance & Escape), we were taught that urine is likely the only clean, pressurized saline you will have for cleaning wounds. It’s one reason to stay hydrated, you’ll be able to piss on your buddy when he gets wounded.
That’s it, those taliban weren’t dead and the marines where trying to save them by irrigating there wounds.
The video was a bad idea, but the thinking was along the lines of that used by the enemy when they saw the head off of some poor victim.
