The Exploder
has full time All Wheel Drive, so it’s very difficult to get the tires to break free on the dry.
On the wet, on the other hand, it’s a cakewalk. Oh, the limited slips scream a bit, but the’re made to do that. Today, I’m listening to the All Og Music Mix (Several years ago, the Oglet wanted to upgrade from the Ipod Nano to the Ipod touch, so i got the handmedown) and Santana’s “Everything is coming our way” comes up in shuffle.
Now, I understand if you don’t like the musical stylings of Carlos, but if you have any affinity for them at all, and this song doesn’t make you put your foot through the floor, you’d better check your pulse.
Luckily, the traffic was light in Naperville this morning, because I drifted down the Freedom Road exit off the Reagan this morning sideways almost the whole way, and as the light at the foot was green I kept the foot down and slid across the four lanes of Freedom road- the woman sitting stopped at the light staring directly into the front window of the sploder had an expression that has me giggling still.

Disbelief or shock? I suppose both could be the same. Love showing off to those twits driving their Corollas with the “my shit don’t stink” look.
LOL, sometimes the ‘kid’ in us all has to resurface! ;-)
I’m picturing Calvin behind the wheel, with Hobbs belted in next to him, gleefully ridin’ shotgun.
