I’m trying, during Lent
to cut back on the amount of time I spend online at home.
I have been loaned about 30 some discworld books by my dear old friend and confidant Mlle Jenny, and I will be nose down in them for a couple more days, possibly more than a week if I don’t stop being swamped. Than I’ll have to try to figure out something to do next.

So how did a Neanderthal like you learn to speed read?
Appleseed, maybe? I see one scheduled for Indy Mar. 3-4th.
lol. Dave, I’ve always read fast. I took a Developmental Reading course in 8th grade that gave me like 4000 wpm. Been like that ever since.
Don’t work for technical stuff, of course, but for recreational reading it’s the bomb diggity shiznit.
I’ve been re-reading random Discworld books for the past week. They’re well worth your time.
Guess you could always do like I did, and download about 12 volumes of “The Golden Age of Science Fiction” to your kindle…
Am a HUGE Pratchett fan and you couldn’t have made me happier, heh!
Have you read Good Omens?
