Sorry.
Couple of weeks ago, the radiator went south in the Exploder.
When you take it out you also have to remove the AC condensor, losing the R134.
I have not yet refilled, it, so the truck has no A/C.
hence, the heat wave. My bad. I’ll fill it asap, so we can get back to your regularly scheduled winter.

Shame you couldn’t move the condenser without losening the hoses. It is easy enough to put new stuff in. Walmart sells a bottle that has a built in couple-hose and guage.
Speaking of cause and effect. I am completely surprised that I got through the winter without buying a snowblower.
I have all the stuff. I just have to use it.
The condenser is bolted to the radiator, and they are installed as a unit. They cannot be separated except outside the vehicle.
My wife says, don’t bother, she’s happy :)
Once again, I revel in the fact that I live in the Puget Sound Basin where the main function of automotive AC is to expedite the defogging of car windows on startup. That and there are so many libtards here that hitting one merely requires that a single shot be fired, or a stone thrown. The epitome of “Target rich environment”.
…sigh… here we are, with three feet of snow still on the ground and temps hanging persistently in the low twenties in the middle of March, and you don’t have any a/c. Somehow, I had gotten some crazy idea that winter in the northern hemisphere included the South 48. Silly me…
You might want to add a bottle of oil with the 134. I failed to do that and lunched a compressor.
They don’t seem to like running very long without 134 either.
I wish we still used R12 since that hand more leaway for being out of spec. And I even own stock in Dupont.
I feel your pain, my floppy old ford/mazda escape a/c compressor failed today. My messed up spine is giving me fits so I dropped it off at the dealer, $800! Damn, that’s a new rifle!
For a smart fucker you do some pretty dumb shit. Just sayin’
