Sometimes I think four cycle therapy is as good for me as percussive therapy; though summer is ages away, the First Mow took place today, and damn, did it feel good.

Now, I had to move the little flags the utility company put in the yard, scuttle has it they’re doing some work on the gas lines. But some of the grass was getting to be a foot tall; I may even have to mow it agin in Monday just to keep it where it needs to be. And you can see their spray lines in the cut grass, still, so I will put their flags back in.

I will resist the temptation, as someone who knows me all to well suggested, to scramble the flags. Lord knows it is my nature, but these guys are just trying to do their jobs, and I’m not anxious to make it harder for them.

Not too anxious, anyway.

Anyway, the bottomline is, I mowed, and though I spent a good part of the day on my feet, I feel pretty good. I think it’s a combination of decent shoes, Dr Scholls custom arch supports, and a healthy dose of Vitamin I this morning. We’ll see how I fare tomorrow. Maybe I just needed that Briggs and Stratton Vibro massage on my knee to align things again.
