Bedbugs? A recent search for all the hotels in my area show reviews that claim bedbugs. Now I don’t know if it is true, a one time thing that was corrected, or just a bunch of internet trolls writting bad reviews on motels for kicks.
I watched that last night. Quite the interesting film!
The Copts struck me as more than a little Jim Jones-ish, and at the very least, completely ignorant of the power of public opinion to sway the actions of local law enforcement. Seriously, having 5 year olds caught on camera slurping down the marijohoonie? Not real bright. Smoking that much weed’ll do that, though.
The doco tried to cast the ‘Black Tuna Gang” in a sympathetic light, but something just didn’t ring true in their tale of being railroaded. Maybe they did try to take a whack at the judge…
As for the town of Everglades City, they best played the “I’m a victim of soy-kum-stanz!” card, but you’d think the old-time rumrunners would have warned them about conspicuous consumption! They if anyone knew it was the tax-man that caught Capone.
Re: Room 420 – Did you check the Gideon for a missing leaf? I hear that the page containing Genesis 1:29-31 gets used as a rolling paper fairly often.
I hope there was popcorn in the minibar. :)
