Beagle is the biggest baby on earth. A little thunder and he’s batshit crazy.
So I lay on the couch keeping him company, unable to sleep. Long as I was there, he slept like- well, a baby. Except i couldn’t. So now I’m headed into friday midday on a couple hours sleep, living on Vitamin C and caffeine.

My dog is only afraid of the noise the smoke alarm makes when the battery is low. The dog doesn’t know what makes that “chirp”, but he knows it is evil.
yeah, we got the same thing with max, he’s terrified of the smoke alarm chirp, so much so he tried to tunnel out the front door once.
Just give your dogs a bowl of Bud Light; it calms their nerves on a dark and stormy night.
Our Lab-Chow is deathly afraid of thunder and other loud noises. Or was, at 14 she is almost as deaf as I am so the panicked puppy crawling into bed with us is pretty much over. If the lightning is bright enough she will crawl in with my son.
Reminds me of “livin’ on reds, vitamin C and cocaine”.
Not that I ever have, but I used to know the song.
