So I did my part
in getting Dick Lugar fired this morning. Don’t know if it will take, but it won’t be because I didn’t try.
That being the point.

I hope it takes.
I hope you were successful. The man’s outstayed his welcome.
We can only hope it will take.
I like what Orrin Hatch said about his opponent 36 years ago:
“What do you call a senator who’s been in Washington for 18 years?”
“You call him home.”
I guess ol’ Orrin conveniently forgot about that 18 years ago. Anyway, it applies to him and Lugar both.
RINO, hey ho, he must go
My Senators are in one case rich by accidet and in the other demonstrably dumber’n a pallet of cinderblocks. Unfortunately, even though I vote in every damn election, there are so many clueless dipshits in WA that my vote, so far has had little effect. On other issues, though, us conservative types have made some good changes. Not voting is one of stupidest things I can think of.
Anyone who doesn’t bother to vote has no bitch coming and as far as I’m concerned can eat dirt. Crappy cheapass dirt at that.
I got my jab in at Lugar as well.Looking like he is going to be packing soon.
It did, he’s gone!
Voted today in our Municipal elections, on the last day of “early voting”. The traditional vote will be this Saturday.
I’m hoping our “world’s most corrupt mayor” will get tossed in favor of “one of the above”, but I’ll settle for a runoff, which ol’ corrupt joe will NOT endure.
But yeah, even if it goes all pear shaped, y’can’t blame ME for any failure to add my weight to the scale.
And that’s really what the votes are, after all. Grains of sand on the scale. One sides gonna outweigh the other, and while any one grain of sand might not seem all that important, it becomes that way when enough of ’em are absent from the pile.

It took.
Now lets put Mourdock in and keep him on a leash
Nicely done.
This “lugar” commenter, er, spammer, sounds kind of like s/he might be a speechwriter for the soon-to-be-ex-senator.
I just deleted it, but yeh, pretty weird. I’ve been getting some strange spam lately.
it is typical of a lot I find in my spam filter. Commendations on my great blog followed by a link to some other website. All written by bots.
Well done.
So, yeah, about that “worthless” vote. I wonder if not voting would have accomplished as much.
Heh.
Good job, Indiana.
