it’s a little annoying
that it took me three months to read forty books, but I did also read about twenty other books in the interim.
Truth be told, toward the end I started to slow down, and savor what I was reading, knowing that when it ended that would be it until Sir Terry wrote another.
OTOH, as I’ve said before, it isn’t as if I’ve buried a friend, but rather made a bunch of new ones, who I can go back and revisit over and over again as often as I like.

Similar reason for my love of books. Now that I have one of the devil spawned kindles, I’ve seen my reading go up. Was running out of space for printed books, so this is a good thing I guess.
I still haven’t read “I Shall Wear Midnight”.
Feels like it would be too final.
I revisit all my babies; I’m glad you do too! I think one of the reasons I have avoided getting any e-reader is that I love holding my books as I read them. And smelling the paper too, sometimes….
